MouseCraft, a Lemmings-meets-Tetris indie puzzler, is headed to PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 4, and PC this year.
Crunching Koalas, which was developing MouseCraft with fan contributions and input last year, has enlisted the help of Curve Studios in bringing the title to Vita and PC this early May and then PS4 in the summer.
MouseCraft has players leading a bunch of mice through a machine by dropping Tetromino blocks onto their environment. This creates a path for them to take and guides them to the cheese on the other side.
"There are over 50 levels in the campaign mode, and as you play, the path and methods of getting to the exits becomes more and more complicated, introduce different blocks that can used to avoid obstacles, create new paths, and defeat enemies," Rob Clarke, the PR and marketing manager for Curve Studios, wrote on the PlayStation Blog.
This is the first time that Curve has released a game on PC and Vita simultaneously.
"That brings up some different challenges for us as it means developing the game in tandem with the lovely people over at Crunching Koalas, but hopefully it’s something we’ll be able to do more and more in the future as the ownership of the Vita grows and more and more people pick it up to play these sort of smart, fun indie titles," Clarke wrote on the Curve Studios blog.
