Indie Royale raises $25,000 for charity

Indie Royale raised over $25,000 for various charities with this month's game bundle, the "All-Charity Pack."

The participating developers hand-selected where proceeds would be donated. Hemisphere Games chose UNICEF's Haiti aid, and Blueberry Garden creator Erik Svedang picked Amnesty International for its human rights work, for example. Other charities included the EFF and ActionAid.

By selling bundles, adding to the rewards, and with IndieGames.com and Desura waiving fees, Indie Royale totaled $25,529.68 (after credit card and PayPal transaction costs) for the four charities.

Indie Royale will announce its next bundle soon.
