Infinity Blade is on sale for a dollar in App Store

Infinity Blade, the popular action RPG from Chair Entertainment and Epic Games, is on sale for $0.99 in the App Store. The game has accrued over 9000 four-and-a-half star ratings in its current version for iPhone and iPad.

A sequel came out last year to similar acclaim, and American fantasy author Brandon Sanderson published a novella called Infinity Blade: Awakening, bridging the events of the two games.

Sanderson is presently working with the developers at Little Orbit on Mistborn: Birthright, an action RPG based on his Mistborn trilogy of novels. The game is scheduled for Q3 of next year and will release for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, and Mac.
