Infinity Ward co-founder warned Activision not to “F**k Up” the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remaster

Don't jinx us.

As we well know, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is being remastered and paired up with the upcoming Call of Duty game, Infinite Warfare. Much to the dismay of fans, Activision has made it very clear that the remastered game will not be available as a standalone purchase, but hopefully that it the last disappointment that Modern Warfare fans are faced with.

Vince Zampella, the Infinity Ward co-founder who now works at the studio that developed Titanfall, has been put on record saying that he called Activision up and warned them not to ruin the game.

I told them–don't f*** it up. That's my on the record response. I rang [Activision] up and said, honestly, don't f**k it up. It's a huge part of people's gaming memories.

Some might say that Activision already ruined the game to a certain extent by making the game only available if people pay for Infinite Warfare, but the paywall doesn't represent the remaster. Hopefully the remaster only adds extra shine to a game that everyone already loves.

And who knows, a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Trilogy was listed on Best Buy and Amazon… So we might be seeing a remaster for the entire Modern Warfare trilogy… which would be amazing.
