Infinity Blade Gets a Big Update, on Sale for $3

From now until Sunday, March 6, Infinity Blade for iOS can be yours for the low price of $2.99. The reason for the price drop? It seems Epic Games and developer Chair are celebrating the release of a bunch of new content for the game.

The expansion is called “The Deathless Kings,” and it’s a free update to the standard game. It adds a new dungeon, six new arenas, ten new enemies, thirty new items, and, of course, new achievements. Along with that, they’ve also updated the game with a new game-plus option that removes the level cap.

If all those extras aren’t enough, they’ve also made some improvements to the game—adding in volume controls, a re-sizable dodge button, and extra character slots. It sounds like a pretty good expansion to me. Just keep in mind that as the iOS’s Unreal engine powerhouse, Infinity Blade doesn’t run on some older models of the iPhone and iPod Touch.
