Earlier this week Xbox Live Rewards listed Injustice 2 for a late March release and it turns out that they were partially right. Injustice 2 is releasing in a month that starts with an M, but that's all they got right. According to the creative director at NetherRealm Studios, Ed Boon, Injustice 2 is officially releasing this May.
Boon had denied the Xbox Live Rewards release date as the rumor arose, but in the past Boon has also denied a number of things that turned out to be real – so the internet didn't really know what to think of Injustice 2's release date. However, it turns out that Injustice 2 will be released on May 16th, 2017.
Luckily, this means the heavy March release list has been cleared up a bit – giving us more time to focus on Mass Effect: Andromeda and the Nintendo Switch.
