Injustice 2 will be revealing a new character next week

Injustice 2 has been gradually revealing new characters over the last few weeks, and developer NetherRealm Studios has announced that they will be showing a new character next week. With Cheetah, Poison Ivy, Catwoman, Swamp Thing, Black Canary, Cyborg and Scarecrow on board, we can expect to see the new character be revealed on March 2nd.

The announcement came via a small image added to the game's main website. Here's the image.

It's probably the best possible day of next week to squeeze in a little attention for the upcoming superhero fighter since between the releases of Horizon: Zero Dawn (2/28), The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and the Nintendo Switch (3/3), headlines will be hard to come by.

Injustice 2 will be landing on May 16th, 2017 for PS4 and Xbox One and if you pre-order, it looks like you will get Darkseid as a playable character right off the bat.
