Injustice: Gods Among Us mobile players rewarded for 1 billion play sessions

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment is thanking its mobile players for helping Injustice: Gods Among Us reach a big milestone on mobile devices.

The fighting game, which stars characters from the DC Comics Universe, has achieved more than 1 billion play sessions on iOS and Android since it launched in April last year. As a reward for the investment, anyone who plays Injustice now through the weekend can claim 30,000 complementary power credits, which enables players to pull off super moves.

Injustice: Gods Among Us is a free-to-play title. Main developer NetherRealm Studios adapted it for iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch, and Virtuous developed the Android version for Google Play and the Amazon Appstore.

Injustice is also available on the PlayStation 4, PS3, PS Vita, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC. Players can unlock content between the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions and their mobile counterparts.
