I’ve been enjoying the slow feed of new Injustice: Gods Among Us news that has been pouring in this past month. Earlier in January, Warner Brothers Entertainment announced the Battle Edition and the Collector’s Edition. Now they have released ‘The Line’ trailer hinting at some of the story elements within the DC fighting game.
It appears like the Justice League has gotten their s#$% together as far as cracking down on bad guys goes. The question seems to arise, have they gone too far? Is the non-super power world fighting back? Will those with power have to ban tighter in a shaky-never will work out alliance? I don’t know. What I do know is that it looks amazing and that I want it. Like now.
Injustice is scheduled to release on April 16th for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and will come in various flavors. The standard edition for $59.99 that only includes the game. The Collector's Edition, priced at $99.99, will include a Batman and Wonder Woman statue, DLC skins, a steelbook and the prequel comic. Last but not least, the Battle Edition will be priced at $149.99 and will include a Injustice themed fight stick as well as three exclusive character skins for Wonder Woman, Superman and Batman based on the DC Comics New 52. Not too shabby!
Watch the trailer above and anticipate the Injustice.
