Injustice: Gods Among Us Season Pass will get you four characters for the price of three

This was to be expected. Injustice: Gods Among Us, an upcoming DC Comics fighting game from Warner Bros. and NetherRealm, is getting a Season Pass for Xbox 360 and PS3. The pass will grant you access to four of the game's upcoming downloadable characters for the price of three. Additionally, the Season Pass offers exclusive access to the Flash Point Skin Pack featuring alternate costumes for Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Deathstroke.

Unfortunately, we weren't told who will be offered as DLC. As it currently stands, Injustice already features 22 characters including the recently announced Black Adam and Raven. Other playable DC Comics characters are Batman, Green Arrow, Cyborg, Harley Quinn, Nightwing, Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern — to name a few. 

Season passes for games are nothing new, so I can't really say I'm surprised with this announcement. Nor am I disappointed. Given the large roster of characters already included with the game this doesn't feel like we're getting the shaft. A 22 character roster — if that's the cap for launch — is more than enough. However, it also leaves plenty of options open for what the four add-on characters will be. Who would you like to see added?

The Injustice: Gods Among Us Season Pass will be available when the game launches, April 16, for $14.99 (PSN) or 1200 Microsoft Points (Xbox LIVE).
