Inspired by Flower and Journey, Shape of the World joins PlayStation community

The Shape of the World Kickstarter campaign has been extended to an additional platform. Initially slotted for only PC and Xbox One, but the developer has indicated that the game will also be arriving on the PS4.

"It's time Shape of the World joined the PlayStation family," lead developer Stu Maxwell said.

Shape of the World is an exploration game that strays from the typical setup surrounding games of its nature. There are no levels or scenes of any kind in the game as it is truly an open world title.

Sporting the tag phrase "Forget quests. Go explore", Shape of the World is trying to break new ground in the exploration genre with a currently slotted release of Summer 2016 according to the kickstarter. You can check out the Kickstarter page for the game here as well as the official trailer below.
