New World Interactive announced early today that its newest and biggest DLC for Insurgency, titled Nightfall, will be releasing on Steam on October 29.
Nightfall brings a lot of new content and features to the first-person shooter, including a party system so friends can play together, nightvision goggles for updated night time maps, two new weapons (AK-74 and M4A1), a new level called 'Verticality', and a new co-op game mode called Survival.
In Survival mode, players move from safehouse to safehouse, and must evade enemy detection. As your team progresses, the enemy gets more difficult. With the cover of night, it can get scary as the enemy tries to surround and eliminate you and your friends.
Meanwhile, Jeremy Blum, Found and Game Director of NWI, said that "Night combat adds a lot to Insurgency. The game is already very intense, but when you are forced to pay attention to the shadows, utilize night vision, and flashlights, Insurgency truly turns into a both terrifying and highly enjoyable experience."
