‘must see” at E3 – Kentia Hall, Booth #6215

Lake Forest, CA – April 29, 2003 –
Taiwan-based games company, InterServ International, makes its U.S. debut at the
Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), May 14-16, 2003 at the Los Angeles
Convention Center. Founded in 1989 and an established developer and publisher of
entertainment and education software in Asia, InterServ now looks to become a
player in the international games community. InterServ is a publicly traded
company in Taiwan and holds the distinction of being one of the only
Taiwan-based developers accepted into the Microsoft Xbox Registered Developers
Program.

InterServ’s production teams are
composed of exceptional artists; experienced game designers; and programmers
skilled in the creation and maintenance of 3D massively multiplayer online
games. The company employs more than 250 people at offices in California, China
and Taiwan.

“E3 is regarded as the largest
gaming expo in the world and we are very excited to be exhibiting at this year’s
show,” said Sheree Tsao, founder and managing director, InterServ International.
“We will be demonstrating our proprietary 3D game engine as well as some games
that showcase the work of our talented artists and animators. We are confident
that we can provide game publishers across the globe an efficient and effective
solution to their game development needs and we encourage people to meet with us
during the show.”

At E3, InterServ will be showcasing
a number of games to spotlight the company’s innovation and artistic expertise.
The headliner is Meteor Blade, a 16-player fully 3D online fighting game for the
PC and Xbox, based on the world of an ancient Chinese assassin.

The authentic martial arts fighting
scenes in the game were made possible through InterServ’s state-of-the-art
motion capture studio. InterServ’s artists are well schooled in Western and
Chinese art, allowing them to produce the most detailed and exotic backgrounds,
textures and digitally animated moves. For Meteor Blade, InterServ sought out
the finest martial artists in China and digitized and catalogued their every
move by utilizing their motion capture studio. Subsequently they have created a
digital database of martial arts and other fighting moves that is second to none
in the industry.

Other games InterServ will be
showcasing in the booth include: Sword of the King, an action PC RPG and Monster
Story Online, a child-oriented PC MMOG; and several other games that showcase
InterServ’s online game development and art design expertise.
