Introducing Firewatch, a first-person mystery set in the Wyoming wilderness

Imagine your only contact with the world is a woman named Delilah.

A new San Francisco-based studio, Campo Santo, announced its debut game today. Confirmed so far for PC, Mac, and Linux, Firewatch is a "single-player, first-person exploration mystery set in the Wyoming wilderness." You play as a man named Henry. Delilah is your supervisor. You talk to her over a handheld radio, and she's your only human connection with civilization.

Something draws you out of your lookout tower, and that's when the mystery begins — players "explore a wild and unknown environment, facing questions and making interpersonal choices that can build or destroy the only meaningful relationship you have."

Campo Santo is hoping to release Firewatch in 2015. The team's members have worked on titles such as Mark of the Ninja, Brutal Legend, The Cave, Bioshock 2, and The Walking Dead: Season 1. Campo Santo is co-publishing Firewatch with Portland-based software company Panic Inc.
