It looks like Apple isn't done with their announcements quite yet. Just a month after revealing the iPhone 5 at an event in San Francisco, Apple has begun to send out invitations to yet another event — likely to be an unveiling of the highly-anticipated iPad Mini.
In typical Apple fashion, the digital card teases the product without actually saying it. The text reads: "We've got a little more to show you."
I see what you did there Apple. A "little" more…It's likely the iPad Mini — which has long been long-rumored for an October 2012 release — will finally be unveiled, giving Apple its much needed product to compete with the recent, and more affordable, Amazon Kindle Fire and Google-branded Nexus 7. It's been rumored that the iPad Mini will feature a 7.85 inch display from AU Optronics and LG. The price is expected to fall anywhere between $199 and $350 for the cheapest model, though a recent link suggests that a 8GB WI-Fi only version will be available for $249.
Continuing with their "little" theme, Apple is also expected to unveil a new 13-inch Retina Macbook Pro and a new Mac Mini.
For now, it's all speculation. But come October 23rd, we should finally have some actual answers from Apple. Are you looking forward to an iPad Mini?
