iPhone 6S and 6S Plus revealed with 3D Touch

"The most loved phone" just got better

As expected, Apple unveiled today the future of iPhone — the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus.

Referring to them as the "most advanced smartphones in the world," the new models offer more than just a larger screen new colors. The big new feature with the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus is 3D touch, "a whole new interaction and dimension for how you experience your iPhone."

Improving upon the iPhones Multi-Touch, the 3D Touch offers more functionality through the recognizing how long your pressing the screen. 3D Touch works on both the home screen and inside the applications themselves, providing you with shortcuts depending on what you press and hold. An example shown included pressing and holding on the camera icon and having a menu pop up that offers to "take a selfie."
