Ironcast bringing its turn based mech combat to PS4 and Xbox One

Successful PC launch paved the way to console

After launching on PC last year via Kickstarter, Ironcast is now headed to both PS4 and Xbox One. Ripstone Publishing and Dreadbit, the game's developer, announced today that they are bringing their turn based mech combat simulator to consoles.

Ironcast is set in an alternative Victorian England where citizens must climb aboard their 25 foot mech robots in order to fight the invaders threatening to take over their city. You will  need to gain resource nodes in order to form upgrades, use weapons, etc. The nodes are gained by using a match three puzzle style. During your turn, simply connect at least three nodes of a similar perk then equip it to use. Strategy is key as there are often multiple nodes you can use, and choosing one will leave the others for your enemy.

Ironcast will launch digitally only on March 4th.
