No. I do not think Ubisoft's Tom Clancy's Rainbow 6: Patriots has been cancelled. However, there is some cause for concern. IGN has reported that game retailer GameStop has removed the title — and pre-orders — from its database.
Patriots was first announced in November 2011. Tom Clancy's Rainbow 6 is a pretty big, long-standing franchise with Ubisoft, so it's unlikely that they'd just pull the plug on the title. The more likely scenario is that the game is delayed for a significant amount of time. According to IGN's source close to GameStop, the retailer "actively flipped a switch" to eliminate the title from their system.
That said, the source also said that GameStop rarely eliminates titles from major publishers without confirmation from that publisher that the game has been cancelled.
Ubisoft, as expected, said, "We have nothing further to share about Rainbow 6: Patriots at this time."
