It looks like Lando Calrissian will be in the young Han Solo movie

Exciting news for Star Wars fans. The Han Solo movie is actively casting for one of the Star Wars saga's suavest talkers, Lando Calrissian. While much of the press has been on the upcoming Rogue One movie, that hasn't stopped fans from looking down the road (2018 to be exact) at what we might see from the young Han Solo film.

One of the more intriguing backstories that is mentioned in the original trilogy is a brief exchange between the two when we first meet Lando in the Empire Strikes Back. "Remember, you lost her to me fair and square," Han says when Lando asks what has happened to the Millenium Falcon.

It would certainly prove to be a logical choice for a story arc if the writers are looking for some sort of progression for Solo's character. Perhaps we might open with a Solo struggling to make his way as a smuggler, presumably with a ship that's a piece of crap, then finds out that his friend and rival smuggler has a ship (and a weakness for cards), and sees an opportunity.

There's (hopefully) several directions they can go with Han Solo, but it's nice to see that Lando Calrissian will be a part of it.
