Sony Online Entertainment President John Smedley has released a batch of screenshots showing off some diverse weather effects in the studio's upcoming zombie-survival MMO, H1Z1.
Much of what we've seen with H1Z1 has been set in a northwest climate — mountainous, lots of rain and fog, the type of weather you'd expect to see in Washington. Of course, that region has some pretty diverse weather and today's screenshots show the game environment covered in snow. It's like Christmas in July.
It's not just H1Z1 either. SOE's other MMO, PlanetSide 2, is also getting weather effects. Though we've known this for a while now, Smedley reiterated it on Twitter.
