It’s not too late to pre-order a PS4 before launch

Earlier this week, we wrote an article on how you can get a PS4 on launch day if you haven't yet pre-ordered one. Of course, this was based on information given to us from a local GameStop and could vary from retailer to retailer, depending if they plan on having some items reserved for walk-ins.

But I've got even better news — GameStop has PlayStation 4 bundles back in stock. Over on the retailer's website there's a number of "Starter Bundles" available with a release date of November 15th, this Friday. These differ slightly from the "Basic" PS4 bundles which only include a game; the "Starter" bundles include an extra DualShock 4 controller and because of that is priced at $569.96 rather than the standard $399 for a simple PS4 or $459.98 with a game.

So while you'll be paying a little bit more by getting the Starter bundle, you're at least guaranteeing yourself the next-gen system at launch, with a game and an extra controller to boot. And let's be honest, if you're getting a PS4, odds are you're getting at least one game at launch anyways.

You can pre-order your PS4 Starter Bundle here.
