It’s party time as Crazy Taxi heads to the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Hey hey, come on over, have some fun with Crazy Taxi! SEGA's crazy driving game, which had players pick up customers and take them to their destination as quickly as possible, is coming to iOS devices, the company announced today on their blog.

Crazy Taxi will be available for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch sometime in October 2012. The exact release date has yet to be announced.

Exact details remain unknown. The console port had both the normal driving mode where you pick up the customers, as well as a Crazy Box mode which featured a set of mini games revolving around timed trials and various challenges. We'll have to wait and see if that will be included in this mobile version.

My only request is that it keeps its original soundtrack.
