PlanetSide 2 has already been kicking ass on PC for quite some time, but later this year, it will make the jump to Sony's next-gen console, the PlayStation 4, which SOE is cleverly marketing as #PS2onPS4.
Sadly, the trailer doesn't divulge the exact release date, so fans eagerly anticipating to play this on their PS4 will need to wait a bit longer until that's been fully detailed, but chances are SOE might make that announcement during E3.
The game has been seeing numerous improvements and additions over its lifespan on the PC, and all of those additions will be available once the game makes the jump to console.
