Some people are just too impatient. On Friday, this image made its way around the web, originating on Reddit and NeoGAF. Showing what was confirmed by the publisher, to be 2 discs from Halo 4, one containing the full game, and the other containing the install files, much like we've seen with Battlefield 3 or Forza 4.
Well it looks like these folks have decided to upload the entire contents of both 8GB discs (for a total of 16GB) on various torrent sites and you can bet that fans everywhere have been downloading it like mad. How they're going to play it without modified Xbox 360s is anybody's guess.
It's a shame that something like this happened, especially just a month away from the official release of Master Chief's next outing. A spokesperson told Joystiq:
"We have seen the reports of 'Halo 4' content being propped on the Web and are working closely with our security teams and law enforcement to address the situation,"
Look, I understand Halo is kind of a big deal, but can't people just wait for the official release? With a game as huge as this one, you can expect Microsoft to take action against anyone seen playing this online.
[GameZone does not condone or support any type of piracy, just wait for the damn game to be released you nuts]
