Jackie Earle Haley joins the cast of ‘Robocop’

Jackie Earle Haley, known best for his role of Rorschach in Watchmen, has been added to the already impressive cast for Jose Padilha's RoboCop reboot. The 51-year-old actor will reportedly be playing Maddox, the man responsible for RoboCop's military training.

He adds to a cast that includes Joel Kinnaman as RoboCop, Gary Oldman as RoboCop's creator, Hugh Laurie as the corporate villain, Abbie Cornish as the female lead, and Samuel L. Jackson as a badass media mogul.

RoboCop is set to release August 9, 2013.
