With this week's update of the PlayStation Store, January 2015's lineup of PlayStation Plus games are now available for download on PS4, PS3, and Vita.
For those of you new to the PlayStation family, PlayStation Plus (PS Plus) is an optional subscription service that's actually required to play PS4 games online. The bright side is that every month you also get a free batch of games for the big three PlayStation platforms. It's usually two games for PS4, two for PS3, and two for Vita. So for just a small monthly fee, which you'd likely pay for anyways to play games online, you're also getting six free games.
Kicking things off for January, here are the six games available for download right now in North American and Europe:
PS4: inFAMOUS: FIrst Light and The Swapper
PS3: Prototype 2 and DuckTales Remastered
PS Vita: Duke Nukem 3D: Megatron Edition and Whoa Dave!
Games downloaded through PS Plus remain available for you to play as long as you maintain a PS Plus subscription. These particular titles will be available all month until the first Tuesday of February, at which point a new lineup of games will become available.
