Remember when the internet went a buzz when they found out Jared Leto stayed in character while off set? He sent a dead rat to Margie, bullets to Will, and a dead hog to the whole cast; well Jared Leto confirms this was all true.
Thanks to Empires cover this month of Suicide Squad, fans will get a more in-depth look of the movie that is till a ways off; including the method Jared Leto approached while taking on the Joker.
"I took a pretty deep dive. But this was a unique opportunity and I couldn't imagine doing it another way. It was fun, playing those psychological games. But at the same time it was very painful, like giving birth out of my prick hole."
He also went on to state some interesting news about the Joker’s age: "I always get the sense that the Joker may be much older than people think. It's something different. If you don't break rules, you're not going to strike new ground. I think I'll be cooling down for the rest of my life."
Perhaps Leto’s take on the Joker isn’t as psychotic as we all think, according to "Suicide Squad" producer Charles Roven, the Joker is "more social…a very successful and smart businessman besides being a sociopath.”
