Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is dropping in less than a month and Disney has been keeping most of the plot under tight wraps. As we know, Rogue One will take place between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope and will follow a group of rebels on a mission to steal the plans for the Death Star. These plans will be used to help weaken the evil The Empire when they begin their assault on the giant space station.
Since the movie isn't too far after Revenge of the Sith, several actors will reprise their roles from the prequel trilogy. One of the people returning in Jimmy Smits' Senator Organa, one of Queen Amidala's closest allies. He also helped Yoda complete a few different tasks during the execution of Order 66 which wiped out most of the Jedi. After Padme Amidala died while giving birth to Luke and Leia Skywalker, Organa took on the responsibility of raising Leia.
It's fairly unclear as to how big of a role Organa will play in this movie, but one image from US Weekly shows he has fallen from the position of Senator to something much further down the ranks. You can see an image of Smits as Organa in Rogue One below.
