Since the release of Vi, I feel Riot has placed more of an emphasis on music in League of Legends. Kicking things up a notch, the developer has not only released a theme song for upcoming League of Legends character, Jinx, but has created an entire music video to go along with it.
If you’ve been following the whole Jinx scene, you have to know the girl is absolutely bat s@#$ crazy. Dare I say, it’s part of her charm. Riding fired bombs, shooting up a ton a robots, and riding a rhino are all part of a normal day for the hexplosive psychopath. It would seem that Riot is pretty excited about this champion for she is the first one I’ve ever seen to get her own official music video.
The vocals for “Get Jinxed” are by singer Agnete Kjølsrud from the band Djerv. The entire thing is quite well put together; the music is solid, the lyrics are catchy, and the animation is top notch. This music video alone has put so much more life into a prereleased character than ever before. Althoguh Jinx isn’t currently live, you can play her on the public test realm (or read our hands-on preview). I think it’s about time we all get Jinxed!
