Joe Danger 2 getting 10 hours of extra content on PSN

Joe Danger 2: The Movie has been available on Xbox Live Arcade for a few weeks now, and it's a mighty awesome game. Capitalizing on the platforming/racing combination of its predecessor and giving fans more of what they loved, Hello Games has delivered a sequel that's worthy of gamers' attention.

The game has yet to launch on the PlayStation Network, but Sean Murray, the developer's managing director, wants PlayStation 3 owners to know that Joe Danger 2 is en route to the PlayStation Network. Though an exact launch date hasn't been announced, Murray says the game will be released "in the very near future."

To thank PlayStation 3 gamers for their patience, Hello Games will be adding 10 hours worth of bonus content not seen in the Xbox Live Arcade version. "We’re putting the finishing touches to this at the moment, and I don’t want to give too much away, but I think fans of the original will really love what we’ve done," explained Murray.

To be honest, the idea of 10 hours worth of additional stuff to do in Joe Danger 2 is very exciting. That said, like so many other individuals, I already own the game on Xbox Live Arcade, so I'm wondering if Hello Games will eventually release the bonus goodies on that version. Unless this is the content that was left out of the PlayStation Network edition of the original Joe Danger, I imagine a lot of Xbox 360 owners getting upset by this.

In any case, it's great to see Joe Danger 2 getting some love on multiple platforms. Watch out for this one on the PlayStation Network soon.
