John Boyega is hyping Pacific Rim 2 with an epic Yaeger illustration

Pacific Rim 2 (Uprising) has had its issues getting off the ground, but John Boyega's social media promotion of the movie gives off the impression that everything appears to be gravy at the moment. His excitement and passion for the project are apparent, and his latest Instagram tease is a good one. While we don't know a whole lot about the film outside of Boyega's role as Stacker Pentecost's son, that seems to be making fans even more willing to eat up every little crumb that gets dropped on the internet.

Including this Instagram post from Boyega himself.

The post has currently surpassed 50.5K likes and has started a pretty extensive dialog.

Pacific Rim: Uprising is now being directed by Spartacus creator, Steven S. DeKnight after Guillermo Del Toro stepped down from the position, but now serves as Producer. The movie is currently slated to release on February 28th, 2018.
