Famous composer John Williams has remarkably claimed that he has never watched Star Wars, despite creating the original score for the popular franchise.
The 84-year old claims that since the first sci-fi movie premiered in 1977, he has not seen a single minute of any of the Star Wars series.
Quite rightly, you might be wondering just how has he managed that?
Well, during a recent interview on the Daily Mirror website Williams said: "I let it go. I have not looked at the Star Wars films and that's absolutely true.
"When I'm finished with a film, I've been living with it, we've been dubbing it, recording to it, and so on. You walk out of the studio and 'Ah, it's finished'."
The composer was also questioned about the possible temptation to go and see how his work has been presented on-screen, but he take a very different view on the situation.
'"Now I don't have an impulse to go to the theater and look at it," he said. "Maybe some people find that weird, or listen to recordings of my music very, very rarely.
"I'm not particularly proud of that, I have to say, but it's also part of the fact that I finished Star Wars now and I'm already working on Spielberg's new film and I don't want to listen to music or see films."
Williams has achieved tremendous success during his career, working not only on the Star Wars movie scores, but for the themes that he has also put together for Jurassic Park, Harry Potter and many more world renowned movie franchises.
