A week ago, NetherRealm revealed their story trailer (you can watch it above). While the video spotlighted Cassie Cage, Jacqueline Briggs, Takashi Takeda, and Kung Jin, it actually showed off a lot more – like seven characters more.
I don't want to say I was right, but…I was right! Johnny Cage is in the game. I called it a week ago when NetherRealm revealed their story trailer! There are still plenty of characters that I saw in the video, hopefully more of them get revealed because Undead Sindel would be awesome.
The confirmation came from Adam Urbano, the senior producer at Netherealm studios, during an interview with GameCrate.
"You'll get to play as Johnny Cage, but we're also showing Cassie Cage, who is the daughter of Sonya and Johnny," Urbano said. "You'll get a chance to see Kenshi and a chance to see a couple more."
So there you have it! Hyped!
