Jonathan Blow reaches huge milestone for The Witness

It's been a while since we've last heard from Jonathon Blow regarding his latest project, The Witness. The Witness' first demo was played during the Penny Arcade Expo in 2010, but the game has come a long way since then.

Last Friday, Blow reached a huge milestone: completing the design of every single puzzle found in The Witness.

All the puzzles that will be in the game when it ships are officially in the game right now. The game is still far from being complete, but reaching this milestone is a major hurdle — especially considering there are 677 puzzles currently in the game. However, that number could change should Blow decide to make any cuts.

The remaining work will focus on removing bugs and polishing the game's design, models, and textures. Other things, like the story and the menu, are still being decided upon, so who knows when we'll get a release date.
