Josh Brolin talks playing Thanos, and teases his future in the MCU

"Trajectory of Thanos in the next few years, it’s very exciting"

One of the most infamous villains in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Thanos, has only gotten a little time onscreen. He made little cameos in Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers: Age of Ultron, but that doesn’t mean Marvel has no plans for him.

In fact, in a recent interview with Superhero Hype, Josh Brolin went into detail on how it is to play as the infamous villain Thanos and teased us with "very exciting" Thanos future arc, here's what he had to say:

“It’s not voice work, it’s mo-cap. I’m there. I’m there and I’m not in a booth. I’m being filmed. I have a bunch of crap on my face. I’m being filmed by like thirty-four cameras? Thirty-six cameras? Something like that. Every movement, everything. So, it’s very new to me, it’s very exciting, it’s very unnerving. But I sure trust these guys! You know? We’re supposed to get together very soon to talk about the trajectory of Thanos in the next few years and it’s very exciting. It’s one of the better decisions I think I’ve made.”

Avengers: Age of Ultron left off with Thanos teasing his future appearance and now with the confirmation from Brolin, fans can definitely expect to see a more prominent Thanos in the upcoming Marvel films.

Avengers: Infinity War Parts 1 and 2 are still a while away – May 4th, 2018, and May 3rd, 2019, but Marvel fans will be getting a huge movie this year in Captain America: Civil War which hits the big screens on May 6th, 2016.
