Thatgamecompany, the American developer behind games like Journey, is planning to unveil a new game this year, according to a tweet by creative director Jenova Chen.
Chen said that we'll "hopefully … hear about it this year," which is at least a sign that a game announcement will happen this year sometime, if not a full release.
The indie developer's last release was Journey, an award-winning title that appeared in 2012 for PlayStation 3. Its other revered games, Flow and Flower, debuted in 2007 and 2009, respectively. They've appeared on the PS3, PSP, and now the PS Vita and PS4.
@mikeblackbourn thank you. Hopefully you will hear about it this year.
