Journey gets soundtrack CD that you can touch and look at and stuff

The digital Journey soundtrack launched back in April much to the excitement of many individuals. Simply put, the music of thatgamecompany's latest endeavor was some of the most riveting in all of gaming in 2012. That's why it should come as no surprise that the soundtrack was released to the public. It's just that damn good.

For those of you who like physical CDs, however, you'll be glad to know that Sumthing Distribution will soon release a tangible copy of the Journey soundtrack. Aww, yeah!

The CD will include artwork and a booklet with some words from composer Austin Wintory and other staff. You'll be able to snag it for $13.97, which isn't shabby at all for a sexy, shiny CD.

An exact launch date has yet to be announced, but we'll be watching out for that info. Stay tuned.
