Journey takes home three awards at the VGAs (and deservingly so)

This year, Journey managed to win its way into the hearts of many. It provided a touching experience that could only be described as surreal, which is exactly why it was so deserving of the three awards it won at the VGAs.

Journey and developer thatgamecompany went away with awards for Best PS3 game, Best Independent Game, and Best Score. It's actually a bit shocking that the game didn't win the Game of the Year award. Hell, it's a bit saddening that it didn't win that award, to be perfectly honest.

Still, three awards is mighty impressive. Congrats to thatgamecompany for crafting such a spectacular, unforgettable adventure. Or rather, such a spectacular, unforgettable journey.
