Julia & Negan from The Walking Dead coming to Tekken 7 later this month

Bandai Namco finally spilled the beans on when the newest additions to the roster for Tekken 7 are coming out. At the end of this month, February 28th, two new fighters will be making their way into the fighting game. Series veteran Julia Chang alongside crossover guest Negan from The Walking Dead will be part of the second season pass or can be bought separately. Check out both in action in a new trailer!

Tekken 7 has made a name for itself by welcoming non-cannon guest characters via crossover events. After receiving characters from other fighting games like Street Fighter and Fatal Fury, it was the introduction of Noctis, the protagonist of Final Fantasy XV, two years ago which opened up the gates for even crazier guest characters.

While fighting it out with a JRPG character was a fun surprise, the announcement of a non-gaming character with Negan last summer arguably came as a true astonishment. The maniacal villain from the hit zombie TV show The Walking Dead is arriving very soon to Tekken 7, later this month. The second, more traditional fighting character to land alongside the bat-swinging psycho, is Julia Chang. A veteran Tekken character whose arrival is nonetheless a welcome addition to the game. Especially for those players who usually main her.

Owners of the second season pass for Tekken 7 will get Negan & Julia as part of the pass, while all other players can freely purchase one or both. Negan will cost players $7.99 while Julia Chang only runs $4.99. Make sure to check out the in-depth character trailer to see both fighters and their attacks in action before they arrive on February 28th for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
