June 2015’s PS Plus games announced for PS4, PS3, and Vita

Sony has announced the lineup of free games hitting PlayStation Plus in June.

Although it's not the strongest lineup we've seen, it does include four games that you can play on your PlayStation 4. And ready for this? One of them is Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes!

Unfortunately, it looks like MGS V is the only "blockbuster" game this month, as the rest seem like smaller indie titles (except for maybe Call of Juarez: Gunslinger).

Check out the lineup of free PS Plus games for PS4, PS3, and Vita coming in June 2015:

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes (PS4)

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is the first segment of the ‘Metal Gear Solid V Experience’ and prologue to the larger second segment, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, launching later this year. In this latest chapter, you take Big Boss into a high-security Cuban military base on a daring rescue mission.

Skulls of the Shogun: Bone-A-Fide Edition (PS4)

Skulls of the Shogun is a fast-paced-turn based strategy game where you meet and join forces with vibrant ghost-samurai warriors, magical animal-monks, and mustachioed samurai generals on the way to capture the Skulls of the Shogun. In the Bona-A-Fide Edition, you get an added mini-campaign with four new levels, six new multiplayer maps, a brand-new Monk character, and much, much more.

Super Exploding Zoo (PS Vita | PS4)

Featuring 80 destructible levels, you must defend you previous egg by slamming your herd into the greedy alien marauders and blowing them up.

Futuridium EP Deluxe (PS Vita | PS4)

Futuridium EP Deluxe is described as a psychedelic, retro-inspired shooter with crazy action, puzzle elements, and a bumping electronic soundtrack. The EP Deluxe version includes new levels and game mechanics, new ways to die, a graphical overhaul, and an extended track list.

Call of Juarez: Gunslinger (PS3)

This first-person shooter pays homage to the Wild West tales, allowing you to live the epic and violent journey of a ruthless bounty hunter on the trail of the West's most notorious outlaws. Blurring the lines between man and myth, this adventure made of memorable encounters unveils the untold truth behind some of the greatest legends of the Old West.

Cloudberry Kingdom (PS3)

An intense, focused, never-ending platformer, this 2D action-platformer features AI for a near-infinite number of levels for any difficulty. Imagine the difficulty curve of Tetris meets old school platformer action.

Like I said, it's not the best lineup we've seen, but it's hard to be upset with Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. Not to mention it's fun to play games that you might not have otherwise paid for.

June's lineup of PS Plus games should go live next Tuesday, June 2nd, so make sure you download May's offerings before it's too late.
