Steven Spielberg made his first appearance at Comic Con on Friday, and according toVariety, he announced that Jurassic Park 4 is under way with a story and that it should hit theaters in the next 2-3 years. For those of you who need a little help with math, that means expect it to be released in 2013 or 2014.
Few details were given in response to the audience questions about the film, but he did state that the project is moving forward toward production with a writer and story in place.
Although Spielberg was on the panel for DreamWorks’ “Adventures of Tin Tin,” he clearly overshadowed the promotion of that film with the announcement of the bringing the franchise back to life.
How do you feel about another Jurassic Park? If it’s anything like the 2nd and 3rd one, I think I’m going to have to pass.
