Kanye West’s new game actually looks intriguing

Kanye West revealed the trailer for his new game Only One: The Game, and ya know what? It actually doesn't look too bad.

So it's actually more of a teaser, showing off more of the game's premise than the actual game itself. But I like the direction.

As the title suggests, Only One: The Game is based on his song of the same name (minus 'The Game' part), which is dedicated to his mother who passed away.

"I'm working on a video game for [my song] 'Only One,' and the idea is it's my mother going through the gates of heaven," Kanye explained last year. "And you gotta bring her to the highest gates of heaven by holding her to the light."

The trailer gives us an idea of that, featuring his mother traveling to heaven by riding a flying horse and growing angel wings. It certainly looks deeper than anyone probably expected. Check it out below, courtesy of YouTuber Robert Zacchi.

I'd ask what everyone thought of the teaser, but this feels like more of a personal project for Kanye than a cash grab like Glu's Kim Kardashian: Hollywood.

Only One: The Game is coming soon to yet-to-be-announced platforms.
