Karin Kenzuki announced for Street Fighter 5

Karin Kenzuki is returning in Street Fighter V, Capcom announced at Tokyo Game Show in Japan.

Last appearing in Street Fighter Alpha 3, Karin is a melee fighter who makes use of a dash maneuver to get up in close to utilize her quick punches and kick maneuvers. Also skilled in counter moves, Karin has a jump move similar to Jago in Killer Instinct which allows her to perform a jump kick and land on the opposite side of her opponent, thereby nullfying their block. In the Street Fighter story line, Karin is a rival to Sakura as well.

A trailer for Karin and the new "Kanzuki Estate" stage can be watched above.

Karin is the 12th of 16 characters set for the game. We still don't know who the remaining four characters are to be revealed for the game, but look out for our article later this week where we discuss our most desired characters to round out the game's roster. Street Fighter V will release on PS4 and PC later this year.
