Katamari creator Keita Takahashi working on new project

Keita Takahashi, the famed creator behind the brilliantly unorthodox Katamari Damacy series, is hard at work on a new game. Details on the upcoming title are under wraps at the moment, but the game seems to be a collaboration of sorts.

More info will be revealed at the Wild Rumpus/Venus Patrol party at GDC on March 27. All we really know so far is that the project will be a multiplayer affair.

Aside from concocting the wonderful Katamari series, Takahashi also released Noby Noby Boy on the PlayStation Network and iOS. Additionally, he worked on the now defunct 2D MMO Glitch.
