Katamari Damacy rolling onto PlayStation Network this month

Gamers across the country will be making beautiful new stars soon. The original Katamari Damacy is arriving this month on the PlayStation Network.

While the ridiculous rolling-stuff-up game is a welcome addition to the PlayStation 3's library, especially considering the title debuted on the PlayStation 2, the announcement shouldn't come as a surprise. In November last year, we learned that Japan would be receiving a digital rerelease of the game as a PS2 Classic.

Now Katamari Damacy is returning to North America after nearly 10 years. As in Japan, it will be a PS2 Classic on PSN, as revealed on the PlayStation Blogcast and reported by Joystiq.

Look for it on April 30.
