Ken Levine: ‘Please stop’ with the BioShock Infinite Elizabeth porn

Ken Levine has a message for all you Elizabeth porn creators. "Please stop it."

In an Reddit AMA, the BioShock creator was asked whether future DLC installments of Infinite embrace other film genres such as Spaghetti Western and Romantic Comedy.

Levine joked, "It's going to be porn. Lots and lots of porn."

The response then took a turn towards a little more serious as Levine addressed the DeviantArt crowd: "Seriously, whoever is doing the Elizabeth porn on deviantart, please stop it," he said. "You're killing me. It's like coming across a picture of your daughter. I die a little inside with every page view."

Back in early 2012, before the release of BioShock Infinite, Levine expressed disappointment that the focus of conversation had become centered on the lead female's body and not her character.

Levine said back then, "It's disappointing when [Elizabeth's appearance] becomes a focus for conversation because that was never my intent and it's sort of a disincentive – I'd much rather talk about what she's going through as a person, but whatever, they have the right to shout out whatever they want."

I've personally never searched for naked Elizabeth, but I assume doing so will result in plenty of work. I'm sure some of it's beautiful art, but like Levine, I prefer not to think of Elizabeth — or any female video game character — in that way. To each their own, though.
