‘Kick-Ass 2’ director hints at Jim Carrey playing The Colonel

Alrighty then. If this wasn't the most obvious tease I've ever seen, Kick-Ass 2 director Jeff Wadlow tweeted that they have cast the role of The Colonel. Colonel Stars forms Justice Forever — a group of crime fighters that recruit Kick-Ass. The Colonel It's been rumored that Jim Carrey was up for the role, and in Wadlow's tweet, he uses a very well-known saying of one of Carrey's characters. You'll notice the 'Alrighty F'n Then' from Ace Ventura: Pet Detective.

I've already expressed my interest in seeing Carrey in a movie and role like this. I think he'll bring an element that is perfect with the rest of the cast and feel of Kick-Ass 2. All we need is the official announcement. It's never official until it's posted on Facebook, am I right?
