KickBeat now coming to PS3 and Vita in September

Zen Studios' melding of the fighting and rhythm genres, KickBeat, is landing on both the PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 3 on September 3.

The game was originally confirmed only for Vita, but I'm not surprised to learn that plans have changed to a dual release considering how hard Sony is pushing its cross-buy initiative, which KickBeat supports. That means customers get two copies for the price of one. The handheld alone isn't doing as hot as Sony would hope.

KickBeat presents players with a soundtrack featuring artists like Rob Zombie and Pendulum, but they can also use their own music as in-game tracks.
