Killer Instinct’s Arbiter trailer reveals first Tusk footage

The gameplay reveal trailer for Halo's Arbiter in Killer Instinct was released, and it continues the tradition of showing the game's next character at the conclusion. Tusk, who has already been confirmed to be returning to the game, was shown for the first time.

Although Season 3 of Killer Instinct announced the addition of guest characters with Battletoads' Rash and now Halo's Arbiter, it was expected to see another guest to be revealed. Instead, Tusk received his first new gameplay action since Killer Instinct Gold on the SNES. Tusk joins Kim Wu as the only confirmed returning characters to the game. The trailer shows what is clearly a viking ship with skeletons aplenty frozen amidst a shipwreck. We see the fur boots, blond hair and of course Tusk's classic sword. Although his face is not shown, it's clearly Tusk. As you can see below, the classic dragon tattoo is back as well.

The series has maintained this system of reveals since the beginning of Season two, so we should expect a full trailer next month. Season two released a new character each month, and Iron Galaxy has noted they would like to stick to the same system.  Remember to check out our most desired guest characters for Season 3 of Killer Instinct, and we'll keep you updated as we hear more news on a release date.
