Killzone Mercenary Botzone arrives today on PS Vita

Killzone Mercenary players can purchase and download today the Botzone Soldier Training Pack, a new update that delivers an offline multiplayer experience to eight maps.

Purchasing the pack makes all of the game's maps playable offline in Mercenary or Guerrilla Warfare modes, against up to 7 AI soldiers. As the game host, you can control the number of teammates and enemies you face in battle. Additionally, Botzone also brings new AI skills, including: Vanguard usage, zip line navigation, interrogations, rescues, capsule hacking, and valour card collection. The bots will also make use of diverse loadouts to counter you.

Playing against bots won't hurt your trophy collection either. In fact, some of the harder-to-obtain multiplayer trophies can be achieved in the offline area.

Coinciding with today's release is another mandatory update required to play online multiplayer. Weighting in at 23MB, the update fixes some "longer standing collision issues" reported in the multiplayer maps. The Botzone Soldier Training Pack is required to unlock the in-game Botzone menu.
